The SANAP Symposium concluded last Friday and the team would like to thank the organisers (Don Cowan and the University of Pretoria volunteers) and funders (NRF). The Symposium was a great experience, especially for the new students in our project, and it is always an excellent opportunity to catch up with the various researchers and supporting personnel involved in SANAP. One of the highlights was a presentation by Brian Huntley on his experience on Marion Island. For those that are interested, his diary from the time on the island is now available through the ALSA website.
We are all looking forward to the next Symposium to be held in 2018!
