Women’s Day is Celebrated in South Africa

Yesterday (9 August) was Women’s Day for everyone in South Africa, when we commemorate those women who marched on the Union Buildings in 1956 in to protest black South Africans having to carry passports with them under the Apartheid era. Who are the current women scientists-in-training within the South African National Antarctic Programme? A snap-shot of these is given here or here, thanks to Antarctic Legacy of South Africa.
