Categories

This day, first observed in 1986, runs from 11-17 November in 2016. It also runs just before December, which is Antarctica month and 1 December is also Antarctica Day. The South African contingent will also depart around this time for their annual relief voyage to the South African research station in Antarctica, SANAE IV. The project will have four team members part of this voyage. Ian, Jenna, Nicola and Tebogo will be continuing with our scientific research in western Dronning Maud Land.
