In only one week, we will be sailing off to Antarctica. All our gear is packed; R1.2 million worth, weighing in at 750kg and is being stored in an office in the Geography Department. On Friday, it will be transferred into a mini bus and trailer to be driven to Cape Town on Saturday. Excitement levels are rising, and we can’t wait to get going.
